I had my first go of a body scape shoot yesterday, and I have to say I absolutely loved the change. I'm so used to classic glamour or body paint modelling where it's all about my face and pulling 'pretty' poses and just being an awesome model. While I still totally appreciate those skills, I have absolutely fallen in love with this new style of modelling.
It was incredibly hard at first, because it was so new to me. Thankfully Brett Sargent (D-Eye) directed me and made me feel super comfortable the whole time. I ended up totally giving up on focussing on my face when I realised that it wasn't even visible in the shot because of the amazingly creative lighting.
We did some beautiful vanilla shots, then moved on to some amazing rope work and decorative clamping with pegs. Even had a laugh with an awesome wink face made from my boobs :P
I can't wait to do more of this style of modelling! I do have another bodyscape planned with Matt Bailey - who did my suspension pictures. Keep your eyes peeled!
